Refund policy

Before we file — full refund, no questions

At any point before we submit your return to Corporations Canada (or the applicable registry), you may cancel and receive a full refund of all fees paid, including any government filing fee component. Email us at caleb@compliancecalendar.ca or reply to your receipt email. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 business days.

After we file — fees are non-refundable

Once we have submitted your return to the relevant government registry and the filing has been accepted, the work has been performed. At that point, fees are non-refundable.

This applies equally to the service fee and to any government filing fee component — once a government agency has accepted the payment and the return, neither can be reversed.

Exceptions — if we made the error

If a filing error is caused by a mistake on our end (for example, we filed on the wrong date despite having correct instructions, or we used a number we received correctly but entered incorrectly), we will:

  • take all steps to correct the error at no additional cost to you; and
  • cover any government fees required to file a correction or amendment.

If the error is caused by incorrect or incomplete information you provided to us, the correction is your responsibility; however, we will assist you at a reduced service rate.

If we cannot file at all

In the unlikely event that we are unable to file your return for any reason (including if the corporation is ineligible for online filing at the time we attempt it), you will receive a full refund of all fees paid. We will notify you promptly.

How to request a refund

Reply to your receipt email, or email caleb@compliancecalendar.ca with your order details (the Stripe receipt or session ID if you have it). We will confirm receipt the same business day and process eligible refunds within 5 business days.
